Day 1: Arrival to Málaga

An Atrapamundo representative is going to pick you up at the airport and take you to your beautiful hotel in the heart of the old town in Malaga. Enjoy the city center for the rest for the day and have dinner in a local Seafood restaurant famous for the tasty shrimps they cook.

Day 2: Málaga – Caminito del Rey

Enjoy a nice breakfast at your hotel. After that your Atrapamundo guide will pick you up and you will be transferred to Caminito del Rey where you will follow the King;s steps. This is a trail opened in 1921 by the King Alfonso XIII. The trail passes through the most impressive gorge in the South of Spain, Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, a place of true natural beauty, that at one point is only 10 meters wide and 700 meters deep, an absolutely spectacular experience. When reaching the end of the trail, a bus will pick you up to take you to the original point of departure, where you will have lunch in one of the restaurants there.

Transfer back to Málaga and afternoon free to enjoy the city.

Day 3: Málaga - Granada

After breakfast, transfer to the beautiful historical city of Granada. that accommodates some of the most important cultural heritages of Spain. The most well-known are Alhambra and the neighborhood of Albaicín that have been designated by UNESCO World Heritage sites. But Granada has much more to offer, is the best place to see a real Flamenco show in the gypsy caves in Sacromonte and try the large variety of tapas. After lunch visit the city by segway and see the most iconic places that make Granada so unique.

In the late afternoon you will do a tapas tour to experience the Spanish cuisine.

The night will continue with an authentic Flamenco show in the best place where you can have such an experience, in a gypsy cave.  

Day 4: Granada – Alpujarra, Capileira

In the morning, wake up with the view of the Alhambra palace. After breakfast explore this unique Moorish Palace and its gardens and learn about the history of this absolutely incredible UNESCO heritage site.

In the afternoon transfer to the Alpujarra, in the mountains of Sierra Nevada, a fairytale place with white little villages, bohemian, a place that inspired quite a few writers amongst which the famous Edward Fitzgerald Brenan. You will visit the village of Poqueira and have an alpujareño plate for dinner, typical in this region.

Day 5: Alpujarra, Poqueira, Capileira

Have a copious breakfast to gather enough energy for a trekking route early in the morning. Picnic on the peak.

The afternoon will be free for you to enjoy the views and the little white villages.

Day 6: Capileira - Sevilla

After breakfast you will travel to Sevilla. The transfer will take about 4 hours. You will have lunch in a nice restaurant along the way. In the afternoon, after reaching Sevilla you will have a short guided walking tour through the city center. In the evening you will do a guided tapas tour and experience some more of this authentic Spanish cuisine.

Day 7: Sevilla

One more day to enjoy this beautiful city, where so many movies have been filmed, including part of some episodes of the Game of Thrones. After breakfast, you will do a cycling tour through the city to learn about it’s history, see the most iconic places and visit the Álcazar.

Day 8: Sevilla – Ronda – Marbella

After breakfast transfer to Ronda, where you will visit this mountaintop town,famous worldwide for its dramatic panoramic views and escarpments made by the deep gorge called El Tajo. The old town of Ronda has a particular historic charm and Puente Nuevo, the bridge that crosses the gorge is an authentic jewel of this region, many visitors making line to visit it. Lunch in Ronda.  

After this breathtaking experience we continue towards the South, by the sea, to Marbella, famous amongst celebrities for its parties, unique climate, charming old town and Puerto Banus.

Day 9: Marbella

This modern and glamorous town by the beach is beautiful. After breakfast you will take a sailing boat called La Goleta from the harbor and will enjoy 2 hours sailing the Mediterranean. If you dare you can try Stand-up Paddle boarding, you will have them available on the boat. Enjoy a snack on the boat and a glass of champagne.

In the evening you will have a goodbye dinner at a beautiful restaurant in the harbor.

Day 10: Marbella - Málaga aiport

Transfer to the airport at the time of your departure.
